We were contacted by Binning to provide a blind solution to their inward-opening windows within a block of new apartments. It was important to provide a homely and warm feel to the properties whilst also being a minimalist solution with a modern edge. Above all, the blinds had to be long-lasting, cordless for child safety, and still leave access to the window in case of an emergency.
As the building contained 93 units, it was important to consider uniformity throughout, to ensure that the outside aesthetic would be the same across the flats.
The type of window (inward opening) limited the choice of options available. We decided that the best solution would be Perfect Fit Blinds and in particular, the Perfect Fit Aluminium Venetian Blinds. Choosing this option allowed for both uniformity and also kept costs low.
We were able to complete the full installation in just two weeks – which exceeded the client’s expectations. Utilising two team members to transport the blinds across multiple floors and two members to fit and install the blinds, we completed the project within work hours; Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.
